Congratulations to DCC's own Dr. Andrew Rubin, who was honored with the Eisenhower Distinguished Service Award on Saturday, December 6th at Eisenhower Medical Center's annual Holiday Voices Gala at the Renaissance Esmeralda in Indian Wells.
Dr. Andrew Rubin received his medical degree in 1986 from Temple University School of Medicine, Philadelphia, PA. He completed his internship and residency at The Graduate Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania, and a Fellowship in Cardiovascular Disease at Temple University Hospital, Philadelphia. He also completed a Fellowship in Cardiac Electrophysiology at Lakenau Hospital, Philadelphia.
Upon relocating to the Coachella Valley in 1994, Dr. Rubin joined Desert Cardiology Center as Director, Department of Cardiac Electrophysiology, a position he still holds. He is also Director, Cardiac Research, Desert Cardiology Center, and was Chief, Section of Cardiology Eisenhower Medical Center, from 1998 - 2002. He has numerous publications to his credit and holds the following board certifications: American Board of Internal Medicine, American Board of Internal Medicine, Cardiovascular Disease American Board of Internal Medicine, Cardiac Electrophysiology.
